Afro Samurai Tattoo Art?
So, my husband is wanting to get an Afro Samurai tat, probably of Afro beheading someone or something like that. I’m trying to find somewhere that would have a pic of Afro that can be used as a template for a tat. All I’ve been able to find is stills from the anime or screenies from the video game. Some of the pics from the manga may work, but they are all with Afro in some kind of environment, which will make it harder to trace from. So, my question is, does anyone know where I can find some drawings of Afro without a whole bunch of stuff in teh background. Basically, something that could be used for his tat. I’m not interested in what you think of the concept for his tat or your opinion on Afro samurai, either, just lead me to some good concept art, please. Thanks guys.
Don’t worry, you are stressing out too much about the tracing. Focus on finding a good picture that portrays what your husband want.
Position of Afro and any action he might be doing.
It does not matter if there is an intricate background. Keep the picture anyway.
Take this to your tattoo artist, they are experienced in turning any portrait/print out into a traceable outline.
The tattoo artist will most likely make a photocopy of the picture you bring in, making it more two toned and easier to trace.
They are artists and will do what you ask. So don’t be afraid to ask.
If your husband is getting color you can also bring other pictures with color for reference. If not then that artist will have no problem shading black and Grey.
Kudos on being a cool wife and making sure your husband doesn’t come out with something he wasn’t planning on.
