Andy has been involved in the Tattoo Industry for more than 24 years, 9 of which were spent in the UK; where he owned and operated 2 Tattoo Studios. He attended numerous International Tattoo Conventions; competing against the best the world has to offer. He has travelled with Buzz Tattoo in South Africa and Namibia tattooing at big Bike Rally’s, Music Festivals and Tattoo Conventions where he won numerous awards competing against the best these countries have to offer. Buzz Tattoo Studio was established by Andy Van Zyl in 2003. Gerrit Botha became his apprentice that year and the South African Buzz in Randburg is currently run by Gerrit Botha . The Studio in Windhoek, Namibia has been buzzing since 2010. We work towards making the world see that tattooing is a true art form. This means that anything that can be done on paper can be done on skin. We specialise in custom tattoos and have thousands of flash images to choose from. All flash images can be resized and customised to suit individual needs. Long gone are the days when clients picked something off the wall for their tattoos.
