Contrary to the common misconception of society, flower tattoos can be worn by not only women, but by men of all ages and races as well.

Flower tattoos come in a multitude of designs that can mean different things to every individual person, and oftentimes, they reflect the feelings, emotions, beliefs and principles of the individual who wears them.

Flower tattoos symbolize a great many things.  The vibrant coloration of flowers with open petals usually is used to indicate the same openness of a person’s personality, as well as the bright charm he or she is likely to exude.

Many traditional flower tattoos also depict the aspirations of individuals and can be made personal in a variety of ways.

For other people, flower tattoos can serve to commemorate someone dear in their loves.  This dear person can possibly be someone who was loved and lost, and in this case, the flower tattoo would serve as a permanent reminder of this person who was lost too soon.

In rare cases, people can get flower tattoos simply because they like the way they look.

Being sinister can also be a trait represented by an equally sinister looking flower tattoo.  For people who appear good on the outside but in fact have bad habits on the inside, sporting a sinister flower tattoo may very well be a personal statement meant to depict this contradiction.

There are one too many flower tattoo designs available out there today more than ever, and the particular design chosen by a person would depend on what meaning the person would like to convey.
