I want to remove my tattoo with out pain is that possible?
I want to remove one of my tattoos but I am scared to get laser treatment after seeing the pictures any suggestions?
The tattoo is very large, on my stomach and it used to mean something and is now just a stupid reminder. I love all my other tattoos just not this one any more.
removing them hurts alot worse then getting them no matter what you… I know it sucks…
getting it removed is going to hurt. from what i hear, it’s going to hurt a lot. why not find a good artist that is skilled at cover-ups and tattoo over it?

First, are you sure you want to REMOVE it? It will be cheaper, less painful and better looking to just get a cover up. Many talented artists can cover up old and ugly tattoos..
Laser removal IS remarkably more painful that getting a tattoo. When you use a laser, you’re getting the layers of your skin burnt off, hence the pain and the common scarring. Even other methods, cutting, branding…etc hurt a lot, also. The least painful way would probably be a cover up. Yous should at least consider it, a local artist could help you get rid of that tattoo you hate..
It takes several sessions, leaves discolorations, scars, or does not completely remove the tattoo. You could also laser though most of the tattoo to lighten it up, and cover it with a better tattoo.

Get the point? It takes several sessions, and usually thousands of dollars. You should use laser treatment as a last resort. Either think your tattoos out more, cover it up, or suck it up. Laser treatment is definitely not painless, should not be an option when considering getting a tattoo, and rarely completely successful.

I read in news that some company is trying to make a product that takes off tattoo’s w/o pain and easily too (do-it-at-home easily). I read that it acts like glue/wax and when you wash off after sometime the tatto comes off too. You might want to wait a few years before it gets to the market though.
I hate to tell you but it was painful to get a tattoo, it’s going to be painful to get rid of it. I have seen the after pics of laser and it looks worse than the tattoos. I’d just keep it.

Make an appointment with a good dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon….both do tattoo removal. It may hurt some, but didn’t it hurt when you got the tattoo?

Well, thats a tough one. Find out if you can laser it off the other option is plastic surgery.

I would agree with Miss Murder. I am currently on my fourth treatment for laser removal. I have a tattoo on the underside of my wrist, about an inch and a half in diameter and has the colors of black, neon green, neon pink, purple, and blue. After four sessions, the black is completely gone and some of the other colors have began to disappear. Even some of my natural skin color has started to appear. Sounds good, right? Well, I DID use this as my LAST resort. I absolutely hated my tattoo and it WAS a cover-up. So I did go that route too. A cover-up is ALOT less painful and ALOT cheaper than laser tattoo removal. I pay nearly $150 every time I have the treatment and it hurts 100 times worse than the actual tattoo. It feels like a rubberband that is on fire that is continually slapping your skin. When the treatment is finished, your skin is this nasty white color than, within hours, huge blisters begin to form. (See pictures from Miss Murder) After a week or so, the blisters dissipate and the skin begins to heal, only to allow you to begin the process again. I am very happy with the results so far, however, please choose laser removal as your very last option. Like I said, I chose it because the tattoo and the cover-up were something that I could not live with for the rest of my life and it was also in a location that can be seen nearly everyday (unless I wear long sleeves). So, please do your research and think it over before you choose any method to assist you in dealing with a tattoo that you really do not like.
