A BRIEF BACKGROUND OF PANTHER TATTOOS

Of all the many tattoo designs available in this day and age, one of the ones known to make a very bold statement is the panther tattoo design.  Panther tattoo designs may not always appeal to you the way they are meant to, but rest assured, panther tattoos are almost always carefully thought about by those who wear them.

Because the panther tattoo design has sizable proportions and a controlling presence, these tattoos are commonly found to be “creeping” up and into different parts of the body.  They may be seen on people’s legs, arms, chests and backs.

In the case of women, panther tattoos tend to be more vague, but in any case, panthers are often used to symbolize a wild side of any individual.

In many cases, panther tattoos are used to cover up tattoos that one no longer considers to be desirable.  Because the panther uses a lot of black, it is capable of covering up even larger areas of the body.

The head of the panther tattoo can easily cover up rounded unwanted tattoos, while the rest of the body can cover up horizontal seams, while still managing to appear as bold statements or works of art.

Oftentimes, panther tattoos are painted with other elements like waves or waterfalls.  Black panthers combined with elements like bamboo are often portrayals of Asian Art and symbolism.  The eyes of the panther are usually painted in vibrant, cunning colors, while their tongues are often painted in bright red.

The panther hails from two animal families — the puma and the leopard.  This animal is usually used as a tattoo design to portray the strength of a man or woman, or in some cases, even the fending of two lovers for their families and children.

In the more mythical beliefs, patthers were known to have sweet breather felt by others from far distances.  Even as far back as the 1960s, panther tattoo designs have always been known to be fashionable and stylish, well-utilized and artistic enough to be carried on and translated with in depth intimations of life even generations afterwards.
