STAR TATTOO FACTS

There are different reasons why people decide to get star  tattoos.  For many people, star tattoos are symbolic of ancient cultures, stories or beliefs, while for many others, they are drawn to star tattoos for the visual aesthetic of it and because they see these start tattoos to be works of art.  The shape of the star tattoo can hail from legends of the cosmos.  It may also be a patriotic representation of a place or country.  If you make the decision to get a star tattoo, following are some of the considerations that should be made.

STYLE

There is more to the star tattoo than just the basic star shape.  You have the liberty of selecting the intricacies and elaborate level involved in your star tattoo and its design.  You may, for example, choose to get a mere outline of the star of David or go the opposite way and get a more cartoony design.  Star tattoos can be simple or elaborate, large or small.  They may appear as scribbles or more complex and modern illustrations, always depending on your personal preference.

SIZE

Of course, the size of your star tattoo should be considered before application.  Smaller star tattoos are commonly placed on smaller parts of the body like the nape, ankle, wrist or face.  Larger star tattoos can be placed on broader surfaces of the body like the chest, back, or down the arms or legs.

NUMBER

You may choose to go for a single star tattoo or a number of them.  In the case of constellations, you may place the tattoo on a longer, more broad surface.

PLACEMENT

Depending on where you would like to have your star tattoo placed, you should make decisions carefully, especially if you might need to have the tattoo concealed at times.  There is a difference between getting a star tattoo some place visible and some place more subtle, and you should be able to make the distinction based on what you need and want.
