Tattoo art question!!! (20 Characters)?
I want very much to get a tattoo. I’m 18 yrs old and I already know what I want. Its a Billy Joel song called Lullaby, (just the chorus). But it is a little long. I was hoping if I post the lyrics you can make some sujestions on what I can shorten it too.
These are the lyrics. I already know where I am putting the tattoo so I don’t need help there

I like the quote "I promised would never leave you"
I also like a paraphrase from the last verse– "Lullibies never die" That way, it’s a message that means something special to you.
But I think that’s a sweet tattoo, Good luck!
Geez, that is long, and yeah, how can you shorten it?
Id be MAYBE getting the artist to do a sketch of your dad and his birthdate etc. Perhaps just use the ‘lullabies go on and on’ part.
That is the main message you are trying to point out isnt it? If you get a pic of your dad, then it will make it even more closer to heart and home for you maybe!
