Use a moiturizer like lubriderm or vaseline intensive care. Nothing with fragrances in it.

Don’t use Vaseline because it will smother the tattoo and it’s use ointment for 2 days ( Something mild like A&D) and then start applying lotion on it. I put lotion on mine every hour. It keeps it moist and helps with peeling and healing.

I just had my first tattoo on my foream, and for the first two days i used savlon, and now i use E45 cream, which i intend to use until it is fully healed. Any suggestions or does this sound like a good regime?

here in australia there is a product called bepanthen (nappy rash cream) they use for a tattoo. it’s good stuff. this is all you will need. the only other thing i recommend is a fragrance free moisturiser called cetaphil
