What can I use to trace a tattoo/henna design on my hand?

I’m giving myself a henna tattoo, but I want to trace the design on first, sort of like pencil on paper. I don’t want to it to show up once I’m done with the henna….What can I use that would come off later?

transfer paper from any local hobby shop works great. you can use a ink pad any stamp, the ink will just wipe right off when the henna paste dries and flakes off.

Just normal pen ink washes off…don’t scrub with pressure or anything just wash your hands normally and after a few washes the ink will come off. If you scrub, the henna will fade.

Sketch it out with water pencils (hobby or art store) on wet skin, or use carbon paper (the hand writing kind, not typewriter kind) to trace it onto paper. Rub a little gel deodorant on your skin, and press the carbon design onto it.
