What kind of tattoo design would you get to represent this lyric?

"Happiness is a heart attack"? I love this quote, and I wanna get a tattoo for it.
I dont want just the quote. I want something with it. Im trying to get a sleeve done.

That’s a tough lyric to put in visual form. The heart is an obvious choice, but a pictoral depiction of happiness is kind of hard. Happiness is defined differently for everyone. Also, a heart attack is hard to visualize in a still picture, as it is a occurance or action.

Traditional tattooing would go with a heart wrapped in a banner with the lyrics on it. But, if you are working on and/or incorporating this into a sleeve, you have a lot of options. Maybe a sun rising over a "weak" looking heart (maybe cut open, with a droplet of blood coming out).

I would suggest you track down a really good artist/tattooist and run your idea by him/her. They are more used to trying to put people’s ideas into a visual form than most of us here! Good luck!

Just tattoo whatever it is that makes you most happy and put that quote around it.

If the tattoo artist is good, they can make it look really fancy.

so just pick a wicked looking font and get it done on your chest, ribs, back or arm

try looking at one of the many free font sites for a cool font and print out the quote to take to the shop to have them draw it and ink it on you

    try on 1001fonts.com

    brutality
    zippietty
    barbed ink
    black chancery
    or
    Onciale PhF01

edit- how about a heart breaking apart in to pieces? like a puzzle chipping apart?

What about a heart at a sort of angle so it looks like its jumping out surrounded by yellow rays?
