What sort of tattoo design would be appropriate to honor someone in the military?
My husband and I have been together for quite some time now. He is in the Army and absolutely loves what he does. He will be deploying to Iraq soon and I would like to do something special for him. I want to get a tattoo to honor him and what he loves to do. I am just not sure what sort of tattoo design to get. I was thinking maybe his name, initials, or even our last name and incorporating it into something that has to do with the military…? HELP!!!

Dogtags, maybe?
I think it would be cool to get his rank and insignia, if he gets promoted, you can update your tattoo as well. If you get it on your shoulderblade you can put his progressive ranks right next to each other. That would be cool.
I think this tattoo is nice and small adding the last name will make it unique. I don’t recommend adding the rank because eventually his rank will progress and it will make the tattoo look awkward. i like the second picture to the right.
