What tattoo should I get on my neck, and how much will it cost to remove it when I need to look for a job?
I was thinking of getting "Pythagoras" in Greek letters, and in the shape of a right triangle. My other idea was a beetle juggling three pieces of cheese.

I think it would be best to find the "right" tattoo that will be an asset to your career, that way, you can avoid insurance matters completely.
The juggling beetle can be explained as a religious deity to prospective employers. It will show that you are a committed, devout individual. Having an obscure religion will come in handy when you are deciding on your holiday schedule at work.
You may want to consider an extremely bold design. I think a line tracing the circumference of your neck, bisected by either a medical staple or hand-stitch design, would really pop. Depending on the circumstances, it could be a past work injury (what a trooper you are, and a way to stand out to your future coworkers) or a medical condition (again, creating a flexible schedule due to "doctor’s appointments", preferred parking spaces and maybe special work implements).
If you do decide to have your necktoo removed, you will need to play by the rules to have it covered by your insurance plan. Dropping a piping hot grilled cheese sandwich on your neck should qualify for burn treatments/ sking grafts. Brand new skin– for the cost of your deductible!

No insurance does not cover having a tattoo removed. Don’t get one unless u wanna keep it, it’s cost a lot to have them removed. Thousands…..
Henna Tat’s …. they wear off…and no Health Ins.. will not cover removal.
Question.. Why would you want to get a tattoo if you knew you were going to have to get it removed? It is highly expensive and dangerous to have a tattoo removed. Even after getting it removed many people are still left with scarring, I’ve also heard from a friend that it’s more painful to remove it than get it. Getting a tattoo isn’t the least expensive thing in the world either…
If you do not want the tat forever….DON’T GET IT!! Put a fake one on.

It hurts too much to get it removed, so you might want to rethink getting one in the first place.!
you need to get a tatoo that "YOU" want. if you get a tat from someones suggestion, then its not really worth it. the idea has to come from you. It represents and symbolizes you and you alone.
Be careful with the greek letters. I asked for one that had in a spiral the inscription ‘Know Thyself- Socrates’. Later I discovered he had actually written a bunch of curse words.

Also, why get a tattoo there if you’re just planning to have it removed anyway? Perhaps consider another location?
Or, you could do what a friend of mine does and buy concealer to cover it up when you’re job-looking.
Mr. Lizard you need a "thug" or "gangster" name and have that name done in old English lettering. You could also have a deceased relatives name complete with their birth date and death date below it. If you want to go all, include a portrait of them in the tattoo also. this is really popular at the WalMart on the border of Oakland and San Leandro.
Unfortunately health insurance does not cover tattoo removal. I have heard though some clinics and services for gang members will do tattoo removals for free. The same with inmates leaving prison.
If you just want to hide it and show it off on your time away from work, Dermablend concealer is great and can be found at department stores.
Dude, then why bother getting it? Tat removal can cause scarring. And I don’t think insurance covers it. It’s cosmetic.
I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have access to a mirror that you can use to see it.
