Would it be weird to get a tattoo of the cover art of an album?
It was an album that really helped me through a lot of dark shit. So it’s important to me. But I don’t want to look like one of those crazy fans….

No! Bobby B. says: It’s your prerogative.
what album may i ask?
em.. well.. what album is it? that’s like the most important thing! ha. If it’s likee really dark and block colours i’d say it would be weird. But you could like interpret it into a tattoo. Also.. don’t do it square shaped!!
Maybe you should get The Beatles White album or Metallica’s Black album depending on your race.
Do it!
hi there,
for me its ok to get what ever tattoo that we like. if you want to do a design inspire of a cover art of an album, its fine. i suggest you to modify the design a bit to make it less obvious that it is copied from a cover art album. ask the tattoo artist for ideas.
For me, getting a tattoo that reminds us for who we are in the past is acceptable, even though the design is ridiculous but still it resembles something. besides, without the past mistakes we do, we would never be the better person we are today. all the best..
the tattooed dont really give a darn about being "weird" or not….
they get painted on their skin things that have meaning for them.
Actually, it’s a fairly common source of flash that people bring in, we can’t put it up on the wall, because of copyright laws. But usually, we’ll do it on skin. Depends on the image you’re reffering to. Disney is ruthless, when it comes to the law.
No, it’s not weird. I got one last week of an album cover that helped me through my divorce. But unfortunately the tattoo artist didn’t do it justice. On my way to another tattoo studio today to see if they can fix it.
